The BMW X3 xDrive30e is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) equipped with a 12 kWh lithium-ion battery, of which approximately 10.8 kWh is usable. This setup enables an electric-only range of up to 50–55 km (WLTP) – ideal for daily commutes with zero tailpipe emissions.
The BMW X3 xDrive30e does not support DC fast charging – all charging is done via AC power. To achieve the maximum AC charging rate, the vehicle should be connected to a dedicated 3.7 kW home wallbox or a compatible portable EV charger connected to a household socket.
While driving, the hybrid system recovers energy through regenerative braking, helping recharge the battery during deceleration.
The BMW X3 xDrive30e supports AC charging up to 3.7 kW only, with a usable battery capacity of 10.8 kWh and an electric range of up to 55 km. It offers practical and efficient plug-in hybrid charging for everyday use, whether at home or on the go.
