🔋 Dacia Spring – Battery Capacity, Charging Times, and EV Charging Specs

The Dacia Spring is Europe’s most affordable electric car, designed for simple and efficient city driving. Despite its low price, it offers practical range and convenient charging options – both at home and, in some versions, on the road.

🔋 Battery Capacity and WLTP Range

Usable battery capacity: 26.8 kWh

WLTP range: between 230 and 305 km, depending on version and driving conditions

This range easily covers daily commutes, errands, and short suburban trips.

⚡ AC Charging (Home and Wallbox)

Maximum AC charging power: up to 7.4 kW

Full charging time (0 to 100%):
▪️ Around 3.5–4 hours with a 7.4 kW wallbox
▪️ Around 8–14 hours with a Schuko plug or slower charger

The Dacia Spring uses a Type 2 connector for AC charging. Versions equipped with 7.4 kW onboard chargers enable efficient home and public AC charging.

⚡ DC Fast Charging (Optional)

Maximum DC charging power: 30 kW (available on select versions only)

Charging time from 10% to 80%: approximately 40–45 minutes

DC fast charging is not standard on all models – it’s optional or included with higher trims. The car uses a CCS2 connector for DC charging.
